Established in 2019 by the Thomas Jefferson Trauma Education Network within the Community & Trauma Counseling Program at Thomas Jefferson University, the Joseph Foderaro Memorial Award recognizes a graduating student who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to community engagement, advocacy, compassionate clinical care, and meaningful service.

Selected by Community & Trauma Counseling faculty and staff, this honor recognizes professional excellence through leadership, advocacy, initiative, and a sustained commitment to improving the well-being of individuals, families, and communities beyond the traditional therapeutic relationship.
